Nick, Shen, and Vidalia work for the Cadex Guild, which seeks out artifacts and analyzes historical documents. Their daily lives consist of
journeys and auctions—until the king summons them for an expedition to Black Hollows. A forest shrouded in legends of monsters and mythical creatures. A small team is formed of Nick, Shen, Vidalia, and the high-born scholars Paris and Lilia, accompanied by the king’s guard for protection.
They will confront hostile forces and the secrets of Black Hollows.
